Hiking can reconnect you with nature

View after Hiking

“I keep losing my way all the while I keep dreaming of a world so pure and magical like nature. The Deep blue sea, the purple evening sky and the sweet chirping of birds in the distance carry me away to these wonderful green pastures”

This photograph was captured by me during my visit to a national park. The national park provided easy access to many wonderful hiking trails. After following one such hiking trail, I came across this calm, tranquil and comforting place quietly nestled away in the middle of nature. Hiking is exciting in many ways as it enables you to experience nature at your own pace. You learn to appreciate the beauty of nature and also develop a keen interest in things about nature. Life is not only about trying to fulfill all of our materialistic needs and desires but it's also about just relaxing and finding comfort in the arms of nature.

So tell me what do you see in this picture ? Some of you might say
“Oh, well it's a pretty bland picture and what's there to look at?”. Well look carefully, Don't  you see your own reflection in the clear blue water,  don't you feel the warm summer breeze and don't you see the deep blue skies trying to chase out the darkness and feeling of loneliness inside your soul.

In life,  there might be times when you feel that you have nobody to care for you but remember there has always been someone ( nature ) looking out for you. In times of despair, we try to find inspiration in things that we feel deeply connected with and most often forget that nature is here for us, nature can be our saving grace, nature can be that guiding light at the end of tunnel or like that crimson red evening sun trying to bid goodbye and still promising to rise with us the next day.

Hope you had a great time reading this post and cheers until the next time.

  1. It's a great reflection! I think it's great to go out in nature as it really does help connect with us with our thoughts as it's easier to think clearly. At least for me it is. Glad nature has a way of helping you connect too!

  3. This photo is anything but bland to me. But I do get people who say the same when I post scenic shots. It's just water or it's just trees. No it's so much more. Its life. scenic shots allow you to escape reality even if just for a little.

  13. I love the serenity with nature and love the connection until my irritating friends start listing out the horror movies that took place in the woods like Blair Witch and Tag-along... It pisses me off!
