Winter with the snow clad trees

Last December me and a group of friends decided to visit Lapland (City in Finland) to explore the myth of Santa Claus and to witness the amazing northern lights (Aurora Borealis). On one such evening I decided to explore the winter wilderness on my own and as I was walking, I suddenly came across an idyllic home, which was quite frankly situated in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by snow clad trees on all sides. The home had a quiet alluring feel to it and i must admit it, the tinted gaze of the evening sun and the aura of the cold grey winter sky did go hand in hand it making it feel all the more unnerving and magical at the same time. It was as if time had stopped for a moment and everything in nature had gone back to sleep. Sometimes the calmness of winter can have an amazing effect on you. It makes you understand the true power of nature.
